Contact Card
Make sure alarms reach you
Someone you know uses OpenAlarm to reach the people they trust when their alarm goes off. Saving our contact card puts a name on those alerts - so when one arrives, you know at a glance it is real.
Add OpenAlarm to Your Contacts
One card, alarm alerts only. We never use it for marketing, and every message we send carries its own opt-out.
Let a real alarm ring through Do Not Disturb
Alarms don't keep office hours. With OpenAlarm saved as a contact, one setting lets our calls and texts ring even while your phone is silenced.
iPhone
- Open the OpenAlarm contact and tap Edit
- Tap Ringtone, then turn on Emergency Bypass
- Do the same under Text Tone for texts
Android
- Open the OpenAlarm contact and tap the star to favourite it
- Go to Settings › Sound & vibration › Do Not Disturb › People
- Allow calls and messages from Starred contacts
What you'll hear from us
The card carries every way OpenAlarm reaches you - the number our calls and texts come from, and the addresses that send alarm and account mail. You hear from us when an alarm you are listed on needs you.
Questions? Get hold of a human. OpenAlarm is a notification service - we do not monitor premises and we do not contact emergency services.
